Two childhood friends, Mr. Radhe Shyam Agarwal

Mr R S Goenka, Director, Co-founder of Emami Group of Companies, is an M Com and

Rs 1000 crore + business entity, a leading player in the personal and healthcare
consumer products industry in India engaged in manufacturing and marketing of health,

Emami Paper Mills Limited
Emami Paper Mills is the largest paper mill in India with manufacturing units in Kolkata and Balasore. The firm recently invested Rs 2000 cr for capacity expansion as well as to foray into the pulp and writing paper segment. The company also increased its pulp capacity to 500 tonnes / day. Emami and Shrachi Groups together have turned the AMRI Hospitals, originally a Government Hospital incurring losses into a profitable venture. With more than 1000 beds and state of art equipments and modern facilities, AMRI today is the largest private hospital in Kolkata Eastern Zone.
